This excellent series BY PAUL SMITH showed so much
promise that a second series was filmed at the same time as the first. It
is the storyof a boy called Charlie who discovers that his boring old grandfather,
Oscar,is in fact a secret agent working for MI5. Charlie slowly becomes embroiled
in Oscars latest case, trying to prove that the international spy, Semion
Medvedev, is about to pull off a major bank raid in the city of London.
This series has it all, tension, excitement, thrills and
a lot of laughs!
The BBC have an excellent site all about this programme with video interviews
and lots of facts. You can find it at
